Merlin Update - July 202

𝕄𝕖𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟 𝕌𝕡𝕕𝕒𝕥𝕖

For those of you following along on Merlin’s progress...thank you! I’ve appreciated the comments and messages asking how he is doing!

My ranch-raised, half-draft Merlin turned one year old on July 1st. He’s officially a yearling!

This past year has been full of ups and downs for both of us. As you may recall he almost lost his right eye back in February. However, after some extensive vet work and doctoring him here at home he healed up better than I could have ever hoped. His eye is still a bit cloudy, but he can see and that means a lot!

He also had a wire-cut incident two months back. He’s healed up nicely from that also. One thing about horse ownership is there will be things that aren’t always sunshine and rainbows. But somehow we find our way through so the sun can shine again.

I’ve been working with him little by little and I’m excited about what is to come. I expect to do great things with Merlin. Stay tuned!

Again, thank you all for your support. He and I appreciate it so much!
