Daddy Scout

Daddy approves of his fourth little boy!

I’ve had a thing for Gypsy Vanner’s for a long time. When we were able to buy Scout as a weanling 2 1/2 years ago I was so excited for the future. Seeing his first babies on the ground is so exciting!

It makes me happy to see sights like this. Scout is a kind, gently soul. He’s never ornery, out of control, or hard to handle. He gets along well with everyone and everything. I’m thrilled to see that he is passing these traits down.

I’m even more excited to see these babies grow and become horses as each day passes. Being out here with them brings a type calm over a person that is hard to describe.

Perhaps that is why I take so many pictures. They do a much better job of explaining than words can. When you look at this picture you can feel the love, affection, and pride. That drives home the old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words.
