Life Is Full Of Surprises!

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that a wild turkey would befriend us and that in a couple of days I would get to pet her!

She’s been seeking us out and “helping” us as we brand and fence. She really likes our 11 year old son. She even “talks” to him. It’s the neatest thing ever!

This whole thing reminded me about the constant surprises in life. The truth is we never know what a new day will bring. I think that’s a good thing as it gives us a little bit of mystery. Having an open mind and being optimistic have a lot to do with how that day turns out. We can’t control what happens in life, but we can always control how we think/feel about something.
