Beef Stroganoff

Happy May Day!! Did you know that May is BEEF month?! I'm so excited!! I decided to celebrate the entire month of May with a #MonthOfMeatChallenge. What is that? Well, I'm going to cook with MEAT and share a picture of it with a recipe every single day of May! I will say that probably 95% of what I cook is what we raise...BEEF! However, I support ALL American Ranchers & Farmers and enjoy all kinds of meats.

So, what is the first thing I'm making? Well, it's been windy and rainy here today. We need something yummy to eat that doesn't take hours. We are going to enjoy some homemade Beef Stroganoff. It's a recipe my Grandma and Mom made for years and I grew up eating it. It's SO good and SO simple...a true win-win! Here is how you make it:

1 box of Bow Tie Pasta

1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef

1 Onion, chopped

1 Can of Mushroom Soup

1 Can of Chicken Soup

1 Cup of Sour Cream

Salt

Pepper

Garlic Salt

Paprika

While your pasta is cooking, brown the ground beef with chopped onion. When brown, drain grease (if any). Add mushroom soup, chicken soup, sour cream, and to taste...salt, pepper, garlic salt, paprika. Stir well and let cook for a bit to mix flavors. Add drained, cooked pasta and stir well. Continue cooking for 15 minutes on low stirring occasionally. Serve and enjoy! Let me know what you think of it!
