Improvise - (verb) *produce or make (something) from whatever is available. Yep, I do a lot of improvising out here on the ranch...especially when someone builds the damn gate so tall and tight that I can’t shut it! That ratchet strap that had been rolling around in the back of our Viking for quite some time sure came in handy! 💪🏼 I’m about 7 miles from home and had nothing else on hand. I left here with a big smile on my face...take that, gate! 🤠
