Full of Gratitude

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful until about lunch time. Storm clouds started moving in and we knew we were going to get some moisture. We just weren't sure what kind we were going to get. This time of year it could be rain or it could be snow.

We got both......it started as rain in the middle of the night and we woke to a blanket of snow on the ground. Shane made his rounds through our cow herd to check on babies. Some were chilled a bit, but nothing was down. We are thankful for that and for the moisture. It's already beginning to warm up and will be in the 60's tomorrow. What a wondrous time of year this is.

We went through our herd yesterday checking them all out and putting out lick tubs, salt and mineral as we went. I captured a few pictures of what we saw. It's during these moments that I realize how truly blessed we are to live this life and to call this place our home. Having gratitude is so important. No matter what there is always something to be thankful for. I truly believe this!
